Angiotensin-Converting Enzyme-2 (ACE2), SARS-CoV-2 and Pathophysiology of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)
Prof. Harry van Goor, President of ISANH from University Medical Center, the Netherlands will also talk about "Angiotensin-Converting Enzyme-2 (ACE2), SARS-CoV-2 and Pathophysiology of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)" during the Paris Redox 2020 Virtual Congress.
In this presentation, an introduction will be given to COVID-19 disease. We will among others discuss ACE2, TMPRSS2 and the pathophysiology of COVID-19. Furthermore, we will give attention to inflammation, coagulation and oxidative stress in COVID-19. Current strategies for pharmaceutical intervention will be discussed as well.
